Notice on March 10th - 2020 - The Governor issued an announcement, He is shutting down the Chaplaincy Program in the prisons and Jails across the state of Kentucky due to the Corona Virus Scare.

Several Pastor's in our area are on a rotating schedule to preach at the Ballard County Jail; mine is on the last Thursday of the month. Pray as we try and help these men and women begin again. Their sins have landed them in Jail and we are trying to help them see how Christ can set them free.

20th is a special service with the prisoners. It’s Christmas for them and Faith Church has provided a special present for each prisoner. Bro. Robert Bickford will deliver a short Christmas message for the women.

Pray as the Lord uses the many who visit weekly hoping what they say & do will make a difference.

Antioch’s Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church, doing the benevolence work, visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation-for the purposes of freeing the pastoral staff to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel.

Antioch’s Deacons do not stand out among the other members of the congregation. They do their work quietly and often anonymously. It is considered a servant position as the Deacons listen to the needs of the Congregation and respond spiritually to the need.

The Pastor relies on the integrity of the Deacons to keep the needs of the Saints first and foremost in their ministry.

Memorial Day Weekend is the first longest weekend after School is out - Many will be traveling - others will be relaxing at home with family - others will just enjoy the meaning of the day and reflect on the ones who have given their lives so we can do whatever we want. Thank you to families who have suffered the pain of the death of a military loved one so I - We can enjoy this evening with a sense of love and security.
