What Is The "Hidden Life?"

The “Hidden Life” (1Corinthians 2:7) is best described as a spiritual reward for your faith in the Bible. Your sincere faith in the Bible is revealed to others when you make it a habit of reading the Bible, intentionally applying what you read to your daily life and this promised hidden wisdom of life is your spiritual reward from Jesus. (Romans 4:5)

You see at the moment you experience salvation you received two benefits. The first benefit is referred to as "Justification." Justification is freedom from the eternal punishment of sin in a place called Hell. Justification is what guarantees you eternity in heaven. The second benefit is referred to as "sanctification." Sanctification is freedom from the power of sin to control your everyday life. The book of Romans says you should have the power to say yes or no to any bad habit. The Bible says Sin should not have dominion over you... (Ephesians 2:8)

Your daily habit of studying and applying the Bible to you life, which includes faith, confession, and repentance, allows you to experience a spiritual power in your daily life to be an overcomer.  Your Sunday Worship will also provide you with a spiritual washing of your sins by the Word of God. (Ephesians 5:26). You will then be a clean vessel ready to continue to live the Hidden Life found only in Jesus Christ. This Hidden Spiritual Wisdom also includes the power to be free from your bad habits by exchanging it for good habits. The daily cleansing of your heart, by the Word of God and the transformation of your attitude, can be seen in your daily life by the spiritual fruit it will produce.  (Ephesians 2:10)

The Hidden Life is a term that I have designed to describe what I believe is the Truth about victorious Christian living. It’s not about information; it’s about a personal relationship.
